Fishing Words of Wisdom from Hawaii

Post by big bend gyrene »

In Maui this week and hotel room were I'm staying has a small paper coaster with the following printed on it...

HoloHolo - Fishing, The Ocean, and the Ripple Effect

Never tell anyone you're going fishing. If you do, your voice will be carried on the wind, through the trees, to the birds, that will fly to the ocean and tell the fish of your plans. Your net will be empty because the fish will swim away. It's better to say you're going holoholo - going out for pleasure. The fish will not suspect anything, your net will be full, and you will be fruitful in your day's catch.
