WAM HOLE WONDERFEST

Post by What a mess »

Left out of aFenhollaway went to the same area as Sat. got my buddy on the bow and said tell me when you see fish he says there goes a Trout no a school of Reds then a school of trout and then one after another. Started out catchin quick like I picked up three mirror lures off the bottom caught dang if I know how many Trout a couple 24's only 1 red in my boat the buddy boat caught three limits also quickly and they had two Redfish also.

Where we were it looked like an aquarium that clear no wind and saw at least a thousand trout and two hundred Reds pretty spooky but they did chew. Talked to a guide at the ramp that ran to Hickory mound and also limited quick like.

Very interesting. He drove from Savannah to fish and turned around to drive back.

He swung a Trout in and the trebles got hung on the front of his prissy nylon gym shorts with the Trout hanging from them he is hollering help help I said what the heck do you want me to do??? And if you do get hooked in your junk man up cause as good as they are biting I ain't going in till we get our limit.

Man I wish I had a video camera what a funny freaken deal, I told him to take his shorts off and he said he couldn't he was going comando. :smt005

I told him next time ware a cup or at least a jock strap dumbass. :smt012

Last time they were in shallow clear water like that he hooked me it's hard to stay calm when they are everywhere and chewing good.

When he hooked me he was like lets go in and I made him get the hook out I wasn't leaving the way they were biting.

WAM out salute3

Great trip! I would've loved to see that many fish. That's hilarious about the guy in the shorts. Thats not a bad idea to wear something like that, speedos, or one of those Borat swimsuits while fishing. It's sure way to keep other boats away!

Note to self: """Do not wear prissy nylon gym shorts while fishing. Side affects are teasing of fellow fishermen, girly appearance, jock itch, & having your story told on the internet.""" Ok got it.

I've got a friend and fishing buddy who tells this tale on himself. While fishing in his "way down the hill behind the house" pond in Social Circle GA a few years ago, he jerked a
Chug Bug loose from a hangup and it flew back to his pond sled and caught him in the crotch. He couldn't see to pull out the hooks so he had to climb the hill walking very
carefully to get his wife's help. Being a dentist, he got his wife to assist him in preparing some local anesthesia and injecting around the hooks before pulling them out.
I'll take his word that "it hurt like hell" although he did save the embarrassment of going to ER for help. I kid him now by reminding him his last name is Indian meaning
"chug bug in crotch."
