Last time I went fishing up here was the last NFGFC tournament. I'm ready to get my boat in the water again.

Yup. It's been almost a month. Yesterday, got home from work, took out my favorite flats rig, and practice casting in my backyard. Got pretty good at putting it right in the birdbath. Neighbors think I've cracked. I think they're right.

I've gone through all my tackle boxes and straighted them up, changed hooks on my plugs, cleaned and stripped all the line off my reels, took everything out of my boat and cleaned out the lockers, changed my bilge pump, got my new trailer tag, drained all that old gas out of the tank and put it in my truck, refilled the tank and put fuel stabilizer in this time. Next project is change the foot oil and install new plugs. If I don't go fishing soon I am going to go crazy.
