When you send it to be repaired, they SHOULD check for balance also "which is why we all trust Gator props"Ron Wilson wrote:Pardon the ignorance, but when you bend a blade, is there a chance the prop could get out of balance? They have fixed a few for me. On one, they called and told me that they were not miracle workers and that I should purchase a new prop... I mean come on ... it had 1 whole blade and 2 1/2 blades left.wevans wrote:When you send it to be repaired, they SHOULD check for balance also "which is why we all trust Gator props"Ron Wilson wrote:Pardon the ignorance, but when you bend a blade, is there a chance the prop could get out of balance? Re: Prop vs Rock
Hate to sound ignent, but how can I check to see if my prop shaft is bent? After reading some posts I'm wondering if mine is a lil tweaked. At certain RPM's there is a vibration that sends my antenna into a blur, but I just fig. it was my Merc.....3 cylinder runs like a beast. Just the tip of my skeg is missing and two of the blades are dinged but not crazy bad.
