Last day of Trout season

Post by What a mess »

I gather the huddled masses two newbies to fishen and 1 regular got down early...

Mistake #1 got in shallow #2 broke a bunch of the skeg off & dinged the prop up #3 got away from where we had caught them the last two times #4 waited to long to correct #5 was cutting in front of a boat on anchor to start my drift they deciced to pull anchor and act pissy cause I was there #6 didn't stop when I started catching them shoda anchored #7 got past them again

2 good reds 4 keeper trout boat two had 9 trout, at the ramp saw another boat they had two and said they lost a gooden.
Same place and same bait cold gottem should be awesome Tuesday dang it.

I guess it is time to fish for little bo peep & the sheep.

WAM out

Which is bad form going around with a wide amount of room so as not to bother the guys on anchor, rather than behind them and then drifting through the area they were fishing, or them pulling anchor and acting as if I had invaded a protected area?

With all that coastline to fish...why do you want to be a hole invader?

Ol' boy, you might want to rephrase that one.

They were about 75 yards back of where I wanted to do a drift, I was starting on a point close in drifting across four creek mouths, they were on the outer bars in the creek channel one to the east of where I wanted to fish on anchor fishing on a bar. I was coming in on the other side of the bar. The number of boats drifting was a four the number of boats on anchor was one in that area. I was not interested in the hole they were fishing. I had been summoned by the other boat we were fishing with and told where he wanted me to start my drift off, we often two boat so if one is off the fish and the other is on fish or a particular bait or technic we summon them to where the area is in the mean time we cover more area try more technics. Had they not pulled anchor that we we have had no problems they decided to pull anchor and try to cut me off from heading in to start my drift.

I think what they did was wrong then they acted like what I was doing was wrong on top of it. The fish have been highly concentrated in that area and Saturday and Tuesday both we had many boats all drifting all catching and often close enough you could have cast a lure into another boat an nobody acted pissy at all. They after pulling anchor in an effort to cut me off then treid to cast into my boat which they couldn't reach as if to be threatening.

I want to know are you saying you wont fish anywhere others do?
