SLAYER jig heads

Post by Jumptrout51 »

Everyone should have received a package of SLAYER jig heads at the NFGFC redfish tournament.
Did you use them and what did you think of them?

i think they are very nice jheads, i like the double barb and the inset eyes...there is a nice selection too (on website). only thing is, i work for the construction co. that owns sureketch lures (jigheads), and i cant stray. i do like slayers alot though, i'm tempted to order a couple packs of those gold destroyers in 1/16oz

Until Sureketch starts making a better jig head go with what catches and holds fish as well as holding the bait.
Slayer uses Gamakatsu hooks. They cost a little more, but the quality makes the difference.
On tournament day I want SLAYER.

I didn't get any until the raffle at the weigh in but I plan on trying them as soon as I get back on the water.

My son and I picked up a couple of packs and used them in the tournament. I liked them a lot. Can we buy them in bulk? I lost about 3 in the oysters and rocks.

jumptrout, i hear what your sayin. sureketch may or may not be a 'better jig head', who am i to say. but, who would consistently fish with a sh*tty jighead for 4 or 5 years if they werent proven?.. not me. i'll give the slayers a try, if they act right i will use them......with sureketch shrimp tails;-)

Go to the www.NFGFC.org Sponsor page and click on the SLAYER banner. Send Chris an order, he will be glad to pack them anyway you want.
Folks ordering now even get some free stuff thrown in.
