If you had paid attention at the NFGFC meeting you would know to add fuel stabilizer to every tank full of gas. Charles Schwatrz Tallahassee Marine Center said Not to top off your tank unless you are going once or twice a week and to add fuel stabilizer or pay outrageous bills for clean up.

STABIL.....STABIL.....STABIL or a 400 dollar bill.

Sorry about your problem.

That talk came about 6 months too late. Also, I was wondering for all you Tech Gurus out there, My dealer said to be sure and keep the tank full as it will lessen condensation. Who's right????

Oh and for the record, there was two cans of stabil or seafoam one added before I put the boat up. I had my surgery and knew I wouldnt be running the boat. I even had the motor winterized.

Before Ethanol your tech was right. Since Ethanol I choose to gas up on the way down and use Stabil.

No - one is a filter and the other separates water...but in theory water should settle in the bottom of the filter too...It does on the Nutcracker II
