lanark 2/10

Post by JSFrazier »

As my buddy Carl and I walked out of our noon class we heard that our exciting 230 class: "issues in contemporary pharmacy practice" was canceled. Well, being that we were so depressed we decided to cheer ourselves up with some afternoon fishing. NOAA was on crack when it said 15knots seas 2 to 4 feet because it was glass all afternoon. Couldnt have asked for better weather.

Hit the water kinda late at about 430 and fished till dark. Caught a rat red right off the bat then it went slow for a little while. About 630 we ran into some schools of large reds and targeted them until dark. Carl spotted them while we were sitting there drinking beer pondering on if we should head in or not. Courtesy of my new okuma rod, I slung my ol Shedog about a quarter mile to where the school was and after many missed hits I landed a nice 27'' red. Carl followed suit shortly after with a fat ol 28'' on a spook jr. Carl's weighed 8lbs and mine was right at 7lbs. After that it was dang near dark and we were fresh out of water. Had to skulldrag the yaks for a ways to the deeper water then make our way to the truck in the dark. Thats how id like to spend every monday!

"issues in contemporary pharmacy practice" Hillarious.
These days I call it fishing.
Great work on the reds. Pretty accomodating for them to show up.
Actually listening to what other people say is worth the effort.
