St. Marks 2/8 late report
Ran east with a rod and box of flies. After seeing zero fish for a few hours, I found a small conglomerate of reds. I worked through them several times, making several "perfect" casts. However the only responses I got were clouds of mud. Finally on the third and final pass, I casted to three laid up fish, and to my suprise, one ate. A mid slot fish, and only one, but it was worth the trip. Decided to haul while I was ahead and went home. Caught him on a purple toad, thanks RS. I also need to invest in another landing net, no rad pictures.
