L-O-N-G weekend report

We left out of Pensacola last thurs and decided to make our way towards LA. I have a buddy that runs a marina over there so we met him in the middle and fished our way back to his place. His little brother got married saturday night so that was the main purpose of the trip but we decided why not make it a fishing trip too. This is what the water looked like Friday morning....Image

We also had two really cool catches, plus we saw 3 killer whale?? I never saw one in the Gulf before.

cool trip. even if it was second fiddle to the wedding.Nice pup broadbill ..What did you catch it on and were you going after them with lights and all the get up?

We had some mullett tight lined beind the boat cuz! :-D :wink: We didn't intend of going after anything with lights, it just kinda happened. Like some of those dirt road rides at night when we are looking for "coyotes" with spot lights. :thumbup:
