Seminole 2/28
Besides the wind blowing 100 mph this past weekend was a pretty good time at Seminole. Bass are moving shallow and getting on bed. The water temperature was around 60 so im sure this cold front will move them off the bed. I caught several small fish on the creek ledges of Spring Creek.

Did you happen to see any ducks while you were out there? Still frustrated about this season. Sorry, I'll move on to trout starting this weekend.
Re: Seminole 2/28
I didnt see any that i can remember. The wind was blowing so hard that they would have flown by too fast to even see them. There of course was plenty of coots. We all need to find something useful to do with a coot.

You fellas don't eat coot? And you went to MSU, GrassCarp.grasscarp wrote: We all need to find something useful to do with a coot.

You wrap enough bacon and onion and jalapenos around it and it's somewhat edible.

SO they are kind of like geese then, flat out nasty until you get it flavored up enough to taste like chicken
Re: Seminole 2/28
Well, they'll never taste like chicken, but you can make a turd out of them.
