Re: Thinking about going Friday
I'll be putting in at the Light House first thing Saturday morning with my new rig. I believe that we will all experience the first true Spring fishing this weekend. I'll be in the Back Country 201 Pro-Guide.... hollar!

Re: Thinking about going Friday
Had to let somebody know.
Owe, and for those of you who are debating whether to go or not. I went on this past Tuesday with a buddy. We chased around schooling reds for about 3hrs. I swear on my favorite fishing rod that we saw no less than 1000 fish. All the fish that we caught were over 26"s with the largest being 28.5"s. It was truly an awesome experience.
Also, after toying with the red group we moved on to try out the trout. Caught our limit quick, I mean within an hour. Nothing huge, all around 18 to 19"s. The largest fish was caught on the shorline in about 9"s of water. This fish, get this, was 21"s but HUGE. Upon filleting it I found out why. There was a whole 12" long mullet stuffed in its stomach, and the crazy bastad still ate a 7" fluke. Just goes to show that when trout fishing NO bait is too big.

Sorry Robby, I just get so exctited sometimes.
I'll see what I can do about getting some pics up. I absolutely love the thing.... sure as heck beats the G3. No offense G3 owners, had one for 5 years and loved it.
Really though, it was a good boat.
Snatch.... I didn't say where. That info is $350 per day.
