Im happy to report that we were able to arrive at Aucilla on time. No fire smoke or fog delays today. Headed out towards the flats to a special spot and were able to catch our limit of trout and one RedFish by 9:12am. After playing around with a few stragglers that were still tempted to try our treble hooks, we headed west twards some oyster bars. Thought we would try hanging that last Red before heading in. After catching another limit + of trout (several 22" to 24", releasing them of course) and no additional Red we finally decided to call it a day. I believe we ended up with 1-23" trout, and the rest ranged from 16 to 19 inches. I'll have to admit, the old man hauled the majority in. AGAIN!!

very nice. we fished out of st. marks and made it as far east as gray mare. all we found were shorts. had one that was probably 15" but he came off right at the boat. most of our bites came in about 2.5 foot of water on the flats.
You guys are wear'in that rock pile out! Sounds like a great day of catch'in, a lot better than my trip there yesterday. We couldn't find any fish on the flats, just a few in the creeks.

I was surprised, that during some of our drifts, the trout would start biting out in the middle of no where. Too bad the reds werent doing the same thing.
