I was a little turned off when I inquired at Kevins the lack of a NRA sticker on the front door next to the DU ect. I was told that the NRA sticker might send the wrong message. My business usually goes elsewhere.

I have no involvement in the rest of this thread or the previous thread, but was this really their response?

If there is a Kevin's employee that logs on, please tell me this isn't the case. If our authorized gun vendors won't openly support the NRA, then we are in real trouble.......

Kevin's has supported our local Coastal Conservation Association Big Bend Chapter banquet for years and the store is also very generous with Ducks Unlimited, WTF and other charitable events. They may not advertise it on the door, but I'd be shocked if they are not NRA members/supporters as well.

As others have pointed out, they do have competitive prices on many items and a good selection. Lynn and his staff are knowledgeable and willing to share tips/advice. For all these reasons, they'll continue to earn most of my business.
