Tom, my saga continues as well. After forwarding PoP last Thursday, I received a VM Monday evening. Unfortunately, I cannot make out the address they want me to send the GPS to in KS. I will call them again today and ask that they forward the applicable info via email...

Glad I could some humor to your day Atticus

The disagreement over the burden of proof was classic.

In all seriousness I can't believe they are playing it this way. I had an issue with the screens on my machines (my fault) and I sent the machines back to Garmin, they re-coated the screens, they sent the machines back to me, it was all over without any problems.

I was only without my Garmins for about 10 days. No issues on any level.

Here is the problem, you were honest!! Had you sent it in and told them it quit you would already be done. What have we come to?

Thought I should update this post after the hard time I gave Garmin, even if they were deserving.

I finally convinced them to turn the corner and repair my Colorado under warranty. Sent it in about 2 weeks ago and 8-10 days later received what appears to be an entirely new unit. Although it was an arduous process, in the end they stepped up.
