Dad always uses cut salted mullet or old bait shrimp.
Both work well...

I used Coot and duck guts this fall with great success

I like using shrimp on trot lines. I have also "heard" goldfish work great. :-D

Mudfish works best on the Wacissa... dunno bout any where else

It is illegal to use any type fish in whole condition on set lines of any kind could be mistaken for live bait, must be cut. My favorite is cut shiners. Also goldfish would be a great bait but is also illegal in Florida. :thumbup: :thumbup:
