Hate to hear that. You need to be happy they can do it through a tube now. My old daddy was a surgeon and back in the day they cut you from stem to stern to remove the gall bladder. You should be fishing in time!

Yup, I got the "4 holer". Seems to be fine but doc said no lifting over 10 pounds for 10 days, so that rules out catching a fish for me. Could not lift him in the boat.
My dad had the all around cut when he was about 40. He was out of commission for 2 weeks. I was told they are developing a "1 holer" in the future. Since I have nothing to do, I was Googling, and even saw where they experimentally removed a womans gall bladder through a hole in her Vagina. I guess I would have to forgo that one.
