NFGFC & FSU Tournaments

Woke up at 4am called my partner JR to wake him pick him up at 5:00 off to Jerry's dodge a few deer on the way.Finally make it there to see the parking lot full go inside check in with Casey and Pat and also FSU Tourney as we are leaving decide to go south to find clear water so off to Fennohollway we go.Make it to the ramp about 7:15 once we hit the gulf meet by stiff breeze make another discision to go west thankfully we did pulled the GULPS out and the CAJUN THUNDER to catch a quick limit well three dinks decide to go catch a big one at 9:00.Well our south decision comes back in to play and south we go and go and go finally find clearer water after a 30 minute boat ride.We pull into a spot covered up with boats missed to big fish and caught a 23''er decide to go further south to hunt a Red and come back to this once the tide turned went south caught a nice 6lb red not what we wanted but our plan was coming together.So around 12:00 make another boat ride back to where we missed the big Fish earlier the wind had changed directions on us setup a drift and witin five minutes BAM hung a nice upper slot and lost him three casts later I caught our Big Fish 6.11lber we needed slot fish headed to deeper water and caught many 14''ers.The end results Won Big Fish in NFGFC and FSU Tournaments and 2nd overall with only four fish in the NFGFC also took home 3rd in FSU Tournament.
