I won't brag about my 1 trout, but it was 19.5" and the fattest trout I have seen. The day started off wendy and about noon it calmed down a lot. Had a good day even though only the 1 fish.

The winds were great. My leaf blower cranked up just fine. Lowes was packed, but my wife was happy enough to let me fish tomorrow. Stay tuned.

Catch of the day: My son's girlfriend (19) was pin fishing with a #12 gold hook and a speck of gulp half the size of a pea. After hauling in a dozen or so nice size pinfish she remarks, "wow, this is a BIG one!" ...she proceeds to reel in a fat 17 1/2 in trout...it took the bait less than 5 feet from the boat...aside from that we caught 2 other keepers (16, 17 1/2) a few shorts and a catfish. All in 3-5 ft on the East flats.

My nephew and his wife caucht 19 Spanish "decent but not huge" and an 18" Trout at DI reef today :thumbup: I caught 3 Bass in the Sopchoppy river :smt012 :beer:

Redfish & trout on ice...Birddog will report later...wasn't great...wasn't bad either

We set out to go try for more sheep at the reef but wind kept us in close.. ended day with 1 26 inch red, 3 small trout and fat slimy catfish with a knot on his head after the fact...

Prolly ran 45 miles on the GPS today to put 5 trout in the boat. 16, 17, 17, 17, 17. Also a 17in flounder and several large snot cats. Water like coffee from Rock Islands to Aucilla.

BIG BEND TEA PARTY still gots my attention!
