I also use the albright but I double the braid and moisten the line prior to tightening the knot.

I appreciate the info....I tried 15 lb power pro on 2 spinners and a baitcaster this weekend and I really like it. The albright knot held great and I was consistently casting further than with mono, also worked great cutting thru the wind, no big loops in your line like mono.

This site has knots that I use. I have never had the 'stren' knot break!
