Subliminal messaging....but what I have come to realize is that none of you spend much time looking around this site. The information posted has been on the About page since the inception of BigBendFishing.net Dec. 2001 :smt005 :smt005

I was referring to the unnamed posters (JT51) comment about he saw no weather statements. I was asking him what the word "weather" was about in the sentence in the very first post. :hammer:

And yes, I have read the statement several times before...Unlike some other unnamed posters here (JT51) I am not blind..... :smt004

Hopefully people will get tired of "the band wagon" of bashing the new administration and "off topic" will get back to some kind of normalcy.

No, I'm not advocating that "off topic" be censored any more than what is appropriate but it does get tiring to read the SOS all the time. I don't think politics has seen as much exposure on the site as it has over the last 8 mos or so.

IMO - Bottom line is that we'll have to wait 4 years to do anything about the current political situation and everything between now and then will just be biotching.

So BBF.net - thanks Tom for the Fishing Forum you provide.

First of all I would like to give a big THANK YOU to Tom, Chalk and everyone else who has a hand in making this site what it is. There is good information and good people on this site and I value both.

No one is making any of us read anything we don't want to. I would say that if you open a post, start reading and find you don't like it or have no interest in what is being said then close that thread and move on to another.

Just my .02!

Only will say that mid-term elections will be here in about a year and a half, and even a quick review of history will show mid-term elections can have sweeping effect on government checks & balances.

As for the subject of the thread, I've found no site with more shared wisdom relating to fishing the Big Bend area. It's TRULY much appreciated, Tom and Chalk. If only you two could get a direct line with the Man above to settle winds/stop flooding rains I think the fishing posts would increase dramatically!
