DI Red 4/11/09

Biggest redfish i had ever caught. Don't know the dimensions but he had to be 33 or 34 inches. He and I were so worn out that I immediately put him back in the water. We had been over at Mexico Beach for the last few days and after catching nothing yesterday at St. Joe bay we flipped a coin and wound up heading over to Lanark. Headed straight for DI reef to work our way back in closer later in the day. Blue fish and spanish we everywhere early with a some trout. Trevor the nephew had the hot hand today except for the red he pretty well done most of the catching. We tried inside the Lanark reef with no luck late in the day but folks at the store said there were some good catches of trout in close today. Where are the postings? :(
We had 4 trout up to 18 inches, one oversize red, and 5 or 6 spainish.

To fish, or not to fish, . . . those are the answers.
