Very eventful. Sorry about all the problems.
At least your Doctor was better than the one Trouttrent had.
Last year he went to the clinic with a hook in the finger.
The Doc deadend the finger then proceeded to cut the WRONG finger. True story.
WHOSE FISH IS IT?

Sorry for your troubles Ron. I can relate. Anyone who spends much time on the water has had days like that.

I have had some experience with hook removal on my boat. Below is a great medical article which gives some pointers on getting one out on the boat (assuming it is not in a critical area). I have used the string method many times and it works like a charm.

Thanks All. Tilldawg. I've seen the string pull method on T.V. and was thinking about giving that a try. Couldn't rememebr the last time I had a tetanus shot, so decided I better play it safe and add that to the list.
