P.S. I still don't enjoy scallop season and never will. There's just something about congested ramps, no trailer parking, crowded flats, inexperienced, rude boaters and mats of floating grass that I find slightly annoying. Besides, those dang things don't jump at all when they're hooked.

I've said it before and will say it again. You want scallops, PUBLIX SEAFOOD market has them year 'round. No cleaning necessary.

You are probably correct. There is a guy here in Panama City that I have fished with a few times that loves to eat stingrays. He takes a pair of gardening sheers/loppers with him and cuts the tail and spines off before he puts them in the cooler. When he gets home he skins/cleans the meat and cooks it just as you would a scallop. I have never tried stingray (that I know of), but he says it is great.

I object your honor, WAM is the king of tripe. I am but a poor humble southern humorist. If you look closely, I added several well placed points of punctuation to my tripe ... errrr.... post. :smt005
