NFGFC St. Joe Bay

Post by sorifish »

Good day fishing with Brad and Stephen. Started the morning off with a little wind so we decided to head towards Pig Bayou. Worked the area, noticed a steady bite between 3' - 5' of water where it went from clear to stained. Dropped the trolling motor, worked the area, put 6 fish between 18" and 19" in the boat. Starting catching smaller fish so we decided to make a move. Went somewhere between Presnells and Blacks Island and started working some of the same depth and color water we left. This is where we caught the Big Trout and Flounder. Once it was high tide, the bite slowed and we spent the rest of the day around Blacks Island trying to locate the illusive Lizard fish and upgrading trout. Ended up with 15 Trout, 3 over 20", 3 Flounder and 2 Reds. Overall, a GREAT day fishing and as always a great job on the tournament CC and sns!!!
