In response to Reel Cowboy: We tried to catch redfish until 12:30 only finding pups. With no keeper fish and 2 or so hours until weigh in, we needed trout fast. Threw back several 15 1/2s caught on a rapala sub_walk, then made a move to a tried and true spot, put four keepers in the boat, and headed to the ramp, wish I hadn't thrown those small ones back. Two 17 1/2's, a 19 3/4, and a 20 1/2. Should have weighed in but I am scale shy. It was fun, hope to do it again. Good to see everyone there.

Nice catch slayer. I've thought about fishing one of these things fly only one time. I can't do any worse!

Looks like you beat most of those folks w/o trying to hard. Next time try the scales. Only question is trying to catch Redfish first in a trout tournament ??
