Keaton 5/28

Post by Bonecracker »

I took a great group of guys fishing yesterday that was donated as a Church auction/fund raiser! We did not get to leave Tville early like I had planned due to work issues. Ended up leaving around 9:00 am and put the boat in the water around 10:45 at the public ramp. The tide was low and going lower so I was in no big hurry! I really did not expect any tight lines till around 1 or 2:00, but right away we put 4 keepers in the boat and then the wind and the fish shut down. Around 3:00 the wind picked back up and we back in business again. By 4:30 we had 17 keepers on ice and man did we work hard for the three fish. Around 5 we got back into action again and those trout were 18-19-22 inches. I guess you could say we finished with a bang!!

Tried to find some redfish and just ended up donating a few spoons and Glup to the pinfish! Got to love those oyster bars!! LOL!! :smt005

Most of our fish were caught on CT with Gulp/electric chicken/new penny and some on pinfish. Had three good cobia bites on pinfish and all were around 10-12lbs. Nice day on the watrer and my first time back in over a year! Felt good to be back!! :D

Way to go Doc! Sounds like fun to me.

How is the little one doing? Hope all is well on the home front. We miss living in the old neighborhood but we're loving the east coast so far. Give me a ring if you get over this way and we'll do some fishing.

Sounds like yall "got-e-done". Thanks for the report. I am heading down there tomorrow. Would you mind telling us what depth you were having the most luck? North or South?

Guys I found the fish in 7 to 4 feet!! I headed west and fished about 1-3 miles west of the bird rack!! Go get emmm!
I caught the last three fish in front of the bird rack on a 30 min drift with the wind blowing out of the southeast!
