Wow! What a fishing marathon. Friday and Saturday was 2 of the longest toughest days of fishing I have ever done. I'll be recuperating until Wednesday.

I am very proud of Hunter. He hung in there through some horribly hot temps on Saturday and some ugly wind on Friday.
He caught a good many redfish both days and even had a tarpon take a ladyfish away from him right at the boat on Friday.

Congrats to Butch as well. That was a heck of a Spaniard. Way to bring home the money!

A few pics from the awards ceremony.

I finished up 2nd in the BBSWC in the Recreational Cobia Division. This was following a First and Second in the Recreational Cobia Division at the Panacea Rock the Dock Tournament. I also tagged and released 11 fish over the 2 tournaments. I live to Cobia Fish!

Congrats to Butch, Sea Sea Rider, and especially Hunter. With that heat, impressive for a kiddo to hang in like that

The heat was on for sure. My daughter fished the two day tournament with me. She just missed out on 5th place in the Recreational Cobia Division by .05 pounds. After the tournament, my daughter and I went to Angelos for lunch. She even managed to sneek off and pay the tab. They grow up so fast. I was impressed with your son Birddog, he had a very professional look.
