Ecofina 6/21/09

Since there was going to be enough water we decided to go to Ecky and try it. Got on the water at 7:30 and headed out. Decided to go down by rock island to start. The water was still dirty and 84 degrees. We could not get on the fish and moved a lot. Just before we left we stopped near a spot i had marked in 10' and found clear water over what looked to be some rock or coral. 1st cast caught a nice mangrove snaper(I think) 2nd cast something hit and was taking drag. Hauled up a 16" black sea bass. We drifted over that spot over and over and kept catching sea bass. Wound up with 6 bass from 11-16" and 2 trout 16 and 18" Also caught a lot cats and sharks on cut ladyfish for fun. tried to hail members with no luck.

Was a little to far to hear ya Saturday. Do you hail on 16 or 14? Where Breambusters report?
