How to Mow

[Charles]

He comes in sweaty and dirty from mowing the yard.
"Honey, I can't finish. Can you finish up for me?"

She goes out. He hears the mower start up.

Later she comes in dripping wet. He's had a shower and is sitting in front of the TV. Cold beer in one hand, remote in the other.
"The yard's finished, Dear."

He looks up from the TV, "Thank you, Honey. I'm sure it looks great."

She walks over and kisses him on the forehead. "Why couldn't you finish, Dear? Get too hot?"

"Naw." He turns his attention back to flipping through channels. "It was starting to rain."

(Then the fight started.)
