Took the boss fishing Sunday morning. Left Bainbridge at 5am...way tooo early! Got to the lighthouse a few minutes after 7. Headed east towards the rocks and setup a drift in 3-4ft. First cast...huge strike on topwater :-D , turned out to be a ladyfish. Still figured it was a good sign even though it was pretty breezy. Had the girlfried picking up pinfish with the ultralight while the bossman and I worked topwater. After about an hour and no keepers, I decided to drop and pinfish under a CT. Only took a minute and we had our first keeper. We had many, many strikes...a couple of cats...a couple more ladies....and even more shorts.

All in all, we left with only 3 really fat keepers (we lost 3 at the boat). Even with only 3 fish brought home, it was a GOOD day!!! :D

PS-Are live shrimp not available for bait this time of year? We stopped at Jerry's and the girl said they didn't have any and didn't know where we could get any. We ended up using Gulp! which seem to work just as good if not better.
