Team Seatrout

Post by One Keeper »

Well to say the least today was a purdy good day, Me and Keith got down to Carabelle at 6:00 a.m. to run into Bad Behavior and Casey Cook at Timber Island boat ramp, we then procedded to launch and head out for a hot day of fishing. We were greeted with 15-20 not winds  out of the west so our original plan went south quick. We stopped at the tower out in front of the river and talked it over and decided to go down toward Lanark Village and as it turns out that was a great decision we procedded to catch trout for several hours  . At 8:30 a.m. we had 9 keepers in the boat with a 22.5 incher as the biggest  . Well to make a long story short we ended up winning the tournament with 5 weighing 10 pounds on the button, and we was also able to take big trout honors with a 3.7 pounder  . all in all a great day on the water as we prolly caught 25 keepers. Oh by the way all the trout were caught on Topwater.
