A sure way to get a bite on a slow day is to . . .
talk about changing spots.
rig another rod while one is out.
lay your rod down unsecured.
go for a sandwich.
look around to see where you are.
crack open your first beer.
crack open your last beer.
take notice of the tuna on a passing boat.
give your fishing rod to somebody to hold.
take a leak.
