Well the forecast was looking good so I got there friday so my father and I could try and get some pins up for bait saturday. We stuck our nose out passed the Ilsand and couldnt resist going on out to one more time but nothing and I mean nothing was biting. We came back to my top secret bait hole and 4 sabibkis later had my 80 gallon bait well full of large pins. The spanish macks and white trout were hitting the bait rigs too. We left early sat. to find very choppy waves from the east and by the time we arrived at the yamaha it looked like solid 4 to 5 and close together. After letting out alot of anchor rope we had a slow mix of AJs and gags . After lunch the seas layed and the rest of the day was very nice. Totals 4 keeper grouper, 10 shorts, 15 rock bass and a few triggers. One note is even though we had good live bait, frozen cigar minnows seemed to do just as good. And the water temp was 62 to 64 late in the day.
