NFGFC Standings

Post by Reel Cowboy »

Just a quick question for club officers.
I know you count the best 8 tourmaments (based on points) but if you miss a tournament, does that count as a drop or do you still drop the 2 with the least amount of points that you participated in?

You get credit for your top 8 tournaments. If you didnt fish in 4 tournaments your top 8 would include 2 Zeros.

10-4 = 6 6+ 0 + 0 = 8

If it's 10-1=9 then you would drop the lowest of the 9 to equal 8

10 tournaments. If angler misses 4, then there will only be 6 completed which means there would be 2 zero's (0+0) to come back to 8 which would mean
your top 8 would include 2 Zeros.
10 tournaments. If angler misses 1, then you have 9 scores and drop the lowest 1 to give you 8 as your standing.
