St Joe Scallop Trip

Post by bman »

Ran over to Mexico Beach for an over night and then a quick Scalloping trip.
We have two girls visiting us from Atlanta and they have scalloped the last three years at St Marks and really wanted to go again.

Didn't take long to find them.

We had our crowd over there on Tuesday. Went SSW of Blacks Island and did not find much until we got into deeper water near the end of the channel. Took about three hours to mess around and find them, and once we found them, got our boat limit in less than 30 minutes. Kids of all ages had fun both catching and cleaning. Will be out again tomorrow (Thursday morning) on Channel 16 if anyone is around.
