Marker 24 barge...

Post by BeeeReady »

I went looking for Marker 24 barge today with the numbers from a top spot map...No luck unfortunately...Could it have moved in a storm? I found some nice natural bottom, but wanted to see the barge...Does anyone have the true numbers? I think published ones may be wrong..Thank you.

While you are on the subject, I ran across this page the other day. Some of you may find it interesting. The data is in straight decimal format, but if you click on the individual wrecks, you will see the converted degrees, mins, secs.

I think the one you are asking about is the Hendry barge.

I havent been out there in a while, but I believe it is 300-400 yards south of the numbers on that map. Just go ride around and watch your bottom and you should be able to find it after a little while.
