Spent the weekend at Keaton. Me and my 9 yr old son headed out at daylight Sat morning before the girls got up. Had a lot of pinfish bites on the gulps, but no trout. Headed back in about 8:30 to pick up the girls and give the scalloping a try. Scalloped south of Big Grass Island with all of the other folks. Got a nice mess, but they were harder to find than in years past (at least for us). Cleaned them on the boat, and put them over some linguini Sat evening -- great job by my wife. Gave it a quick try Sunday morning with no luck. Probably didn't spend 30 minutes on the water before the weather pushed us back in. We got the boat loaded and the condo cleaned. When we left, the weather actually looked better -- should've hung in there a little longer.
Boat is clean and we are ready to go again.
