Flies for Carabelle Area

Post by Davyou »

I am going to get the chance to fish out of Carrabelle for the first time next week and was hoping for some suggestions for redfish flies. Any thoughts? Thanks!

We still have some Yellow flies and Black flies here (man do they bite).
The love bugs are everywhere.
So if you want to catch a Red Fish better bring some spoons. :-D

Clousers (chartreuse over white, brown over olive, black over purple), kwans (brown and tan) and toads (purple and black).

Thanks. When I get the chance to fish the gulf, it is usually out of Suwannee or Horseshoe and usually spinning gear, so I am looking forward to the chance to cast some flies.
