St. Andrews 09/21/09

Post by Chalk »

Been trying to arrange a trip with John from work for about a year - we finally got a chance to chase some fish today. Started out seeing some good fish early and hooking a few reds here and there. Got ran around the bay by some rain and some funnel clouds, saw two :o . Ended the day with two reds in the box and a keeper trout - caught them all on spoons - trout on topwater.

Grass was horrible...think we could have done better if the grass would have left us alone.

Enjoyed the trip John - we will to do it again. We ended up with about 10 reds and a few short trout...missed a few sea monsters.

Good catch. We've been fighting the grass over Apalachicola way too, but without it there would be fewer fish.
