You guys are part of the old guard, I'm talking about the guys that pop in once or twice a year only when FS is down. BBF is their booty call.

I don't think they've got everything worked out yet, but they have obviously made some progress.

Aside from my own dislike of the new look/feel and functionality, I was very disappointed in the way the "brass" handled the situation. It seems like there was very little to no thought regarding the users in the way the "changeover" went and completely inexcusable how they left the mods out of the loop on the process. They left their own moderators hanging. There are still numerous complaints and I get the feeling by reading that many of the users do not like the new "look & feel".

Some say that since it is free, there is no room for complaints, but I feel a bit differently. It's the page views that sell the ad space that keep the site alive. Page views are generated by posts. For now, I really don't feel compelled to contribute with my post counts and I'm not a big fan of the site's corporate sponsors. I may change my mind later, but that's just how I feel for now. I still read and communicate with member there via email and PM, but that's about it. That's just me though and my 2 cents aren't worth a penny!

No bbf booty call for me!!!

Same here. I use the forums as my fishing logs - hence the reason why I take time to write and post my fishing reports. Needless to say, I am still pi$$ed off at FS for loosing all the old data/posts. Thank goodness for this forum, I at least have some of my old fishing reports that go back a couple of years but the older stuff in FS were likely all gone. :smt011 :smt010

I come by every couple of days to read a little.
It's a small world, unless you had to paint it.
