They did it again! Off from the LH at 9:30 with live shrimp under popping corks (yeh the old style) and some EQ's with silver speckled assassins underneath. Weather started questionably but turned out to be a small boaters dream. Stayed till 4:30 just East of the LH in 3-5. All told 6 trout- 2 to keep, 2 Spanish. (none for Dad)
1st Spanish - what a hoot! But it killed the Zebco 404.
Pretty good for 1/4 gal gas, $7 worth of shrimp, and 9 or 10 good whoops and hollers! These memories will go a long way! Hope yours do too. Oops, gotta get the fish out of the broiler!
Congrats Rod "AND GIRLS" now get them younguns a real reel, an 808 or 888 "I carry 4 of em with me"
“Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way when you criticize them, you are a mile away from them and you have their shoes.”
RB,
Those girls are hav'in TOO MUCH FUN!!
If ya don't watch out, they'll keep out-fish'in ya.
My daughter used to like to fish with me like that, so believe me when I say enjoy it while you can. Once the young men come call'in, their fishing days are numbered. Glad you all had a good day on the water.
