Re: Good Inshore Spinning Rod?
Depends on how much you want to spend - action - weight. I'm using challenger rods at the moment - used a St. Croix the other week and it was really light and with alot of action and backbone - that might be my next rod.
Re: Good Inshore Spinning Rod?
St Croix has been great for me. I use the ultra lights with a very light reel and land some big fish with it. Never had a bad rod from them. All comes down to what you want to spend. You really get what you pay for.

Re: Good Inshore Spinning Rod?
Thanks for the help so far. As far as price I was thinking some where around 150.00 if that is possible. Not sure what wait/action to get I mainly fish top water and a shallow crank bait every now and then. If you have any suggestions for a reel to mach priced around 150.00 also.
Re: Good Inshore Spinning Rod?
St Croix probably a fast action I would think. 7 foot
Re: Good Inshore Spinning Rod?
Hard to beat a 7' medium power fast action for all around inshore rod.
To fish, or not to fish, . . . those are the answers.

Shimano Stradic 3000 on a Shimano Terra Mar 7' med or med hvy with fast action. Should come in at just under $275 for the whole set up.
