Re: http://www.redtroutshootout.com/
These are interesting weather reports. Not a good day to venture off-shore for sure. Lucky for those fishing the tournament with a North wind the flats will be almost flat for the first 2 miles out. The land based winds of 10-15 won't begin building to the 18+ until it passes the 2 mile mark either.
The winds today have consistently been 10 mph less than was todays' prediction. The beach webcams show nearly flat seas at St. Thresa,Alligator Point,St. George and Panama City.
At least it will be a Sunny day on Saturday.

My single motive is that I have spent too much energy gearing up for tomorrow to be able to reproduce it at a later date. My adrenal glands are depleted.captkeyser wrote:I know you motives JT Tournament day here we come!!
That and I already made 12 sandwiches.

Re: http://www.redtroutshootout.com/
Just spoke with Brian. He was down in Carrabelle and said that it was slick. They are going to have the captains meeting tonight and he says he has no plans on postponing the tournament at this point.
Sure it is supposed to pick up later in the evening, but the land forecast for the St. Marks area is saying 10mph up until 3:00pm tomorrow. I think that we'll all be juuuuust fine.
