My cool weather project

Post by dolphinatic »

Well, after having my K-5 Blazer down for over 2 years now, I finally have it back to the house. I've been looking for a transmission now for almost 2 years with no success. Till this past week! I've had the tranny in it rebuilt 3 times now and didn't want to blow the $$$ on a 4th. Brought the truck home this week and finally got around to giving it a good wash and evicting the ants and roaches today  The weather was so nice this evening, that I began the task of dropping the 700 R4 and transfer case. 2 hours worth of work, and it's out! I hope to have the new tranny in tomorrow and driving it by evening. Then will begin that task of all the other repairs from paint to interior. Thinking about even putting the 4" suspension lift back on it  Hunting season is just around the corner, so I thought I better get to work so I don't have to throw any more deer in the Geo :smt005

Been there, done that with the heater core. 1/2 day worth of work and a $30 part. A nice heater during hunting season is definately a must though
