SJB tried 10/10, 10/11

Post by sanblaslayer »

Long story short, I had an awesome time, hooked two, and only landed one. I had a lizardfish latch on to my fly after a blown cast to one fish, then struggled to get him off the hook as another fish approached from 60ft, somehow that ended up being the fish I caught. Had many shots, but most were unimpressed. Fish caught on a cream, brown, and gold toad. Went back Sunday, put the same fly in many a fishes face, and was denied, multiple times. Fun casting to all those fish.

Looks like the mirror image of my trip Sat. 'cept no fish to hand. Saw you guys out there as we were headed by. There was a big school of pomps out there just down from where I saw you. You get any shots at them?
