Oh Boy..what a meal..

Post by Jumptrout51 »

Coastal Restaurant in Panacea is a co-sponsor of the Krissi Flatt Foundation Tournament.
They had their catering trailer set up at the Carrabelle Boat Club, the official weigh in site.
Included in the tournament entry fee was a meal ticket for everyone on your boat.
It did not take long for the line to form at the pick up window. Every plate was mounded with fresh fried fish and shrimp along with french fries hushpuppies and a really good cole slaw. Every plate could have easily fed 3 people.
Everyone ate all they could then folded the lid down on their dinner box for the trip home.
If they are like me they are eating fish and shrimp and eggs this morning.

Thank you Coastal and Thank You Krissi Flatt Foundation for a well run tournament.
We will be seeing you next year for sure.
WHOSE FISH IS IT?

Coastal is our favorite stop when we go to Alligator point. You can have Angelo's and Posie's.....

I have never left Coastal with out feeling like I was treated very well and filled up with good groceries. :lick:

And they always have some good homade desserts ready if you can hold 'em after you eat a plate.

Oh, and I still had some change in my pocket too....good value. ;-)

Love me some Coastal, but I love me some Angelo's too. Posie's was poor the last time I stopped, which is a shame, because they used to be really good. Of course my favorite was the old Oaks restaurant years ago.
Its a wonderful day in the neighborhood!

Actually, it might be the men excluded from that rule as there are only women running that restaurant. :smt005
