Another Closing...

Post by Rainman »

Saw this article and wanted to pass the info along. Can't really believe it... I know the risks of raw oysters and make an informed decision to eat them when I want, I guess I can't do that anymore. What a crock! :smt011

Screw the Feds. Nobody will enforce it anyway.....

I had a friend lose a leg because of Vibrio Vulnificus a few years back while boating. He cut his foot and got it in his bloodstream. Almost died. Does this mean we can't wade in the water anymore also?

I for one ignore most of the feds new nanny laws anyway, as do most folks I know.

Our government in action!

Quote from the article...
Taylor's statement during his Oct. 17 speech that there is no taste difference between a fresh and frozen oyster struck many as misleading.
All I can say is, without question, this Taylor person hasn't eaten any fresh shucked oysters at Deal's Famous Oyster House recently or he has a terrible taste challenged condition.

FDA backs down from raw-oyster ban

looks like a good victory for you oyster loving fools. g'd they're disgusting.
Three-fourths of the Earth's surface is water, and one-fourth is land. It is quite clear that the good Lord intended us to spend triple the amount of time fishing as taking care of the lawn. ~Chuck Clark
