East Point 11-01-09

Post by jadams92002 »

Started out fishing around Lanark Reef caught a bunch of short trout and 1 keeper. Came out for lunch in Carrabelle for lunch and put back in at East Point. Went out to the causeway that produced nothing, then back to the dry bar close to the new boat ramp and that is where we caught 4 reds and 4 keeper trout and several throwbacks. Biggest red was 23 inches and biggest trout was 19 inches.

Chalk, if you make the fork and go down just a little bit it is on the left, or go to Fisherman’s Choice, Bait/Tackle shop, make a left on Bay street, left on 98/Patton Drive, 2 buildings down and it is on the right. I am not sure of the address. Hope this helps. Thanks for everyone’s comment.

Good work. I think you might be thinking of Cat Point Bar. I've had some nice catches there.
