Panacea 11-2 Windy Trout

Post by bman »

Wrapped up a few work calls on the road back to Panacea.
Put the boat in the water about 4pm planning to go right back where they were yesterday.
Rounded the corner and the wind was whippin... white caps everywhere.
I thought well, the trout probably don't care.

Caught 3 fairly quickly- then a my buddy John called so I ran to the ramp to pick him up.
Run back through white caps and get our drift set up...
John's first cast he catches a nice one.
Then it slowed up. The wind was blowing us along at +2mph.
We ran in about 6pm with 7 keepers in the box.

Not bad for a quick trip.
The only photo: stopped at the Coastal for dinner. FRIED GOODNESS :lick:

To fish, or not to fish, . . . those are the answers.
